Independent. On purpose.

LOUDHOUSE is a listener- and sponsor-funded network with no venture money and no plans to sell. We make the shows we would want to hear.

Mixing console and guitars in Loudhouse Studio A
The basement

Two studios under a laundromat

Studio A is for talk: four broadcast mics, a round table and acoustic panels made of old moving blankets. Studio B is for music: a live room big enough for a five-piece and the LH-FM booth.

Every show is recorded, edited and mixed in-house. We pay hosts and producers a salary, not a revenue share, and every guest musician gets a fee.

Rules of the house

What we believe

Humans pick the music

No playlists generated by software. Every song on LH-FM was chosen by a person.

Pay everyone

Hosts, producers, guests and session players are paid, every time.

Ads you can trust

Hosts only read ads for things they have actually used.

Stay small

Six shows is enough. We would rather make them great.
